The annual Great Backyard Bird Count is a worldwide event that allows birders of all levels to participate in a worldwide data gathering event that provides a snapshot of bird/avian populations. So, if you are just a bird lover that would like to hone your identification skills or a seasoned birder that loves to hang out with birding geeks, come join us. We will count the birds at Camp Y-Koda in the morning. Afterwards, you can extend your enthusiasm and count the birds in your own backyard. Birding enthusiasts of all levels are encouraged to attend. Please bring your binocs, spotting scopes and bird identification guides if you have them. Limited quantities of these supplies will be available to novices. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
