WOODLAND WILDFLOWER PHENOLOGY
Age 18 and Older
Wildflowers emerge on the forest floor as a result of natural cues such as light levels, soil moisture and-or soil temperature. We will begin the program learning about the biology of wildflower phenology and then take a trip out to the Ice Age Trail to observe these plants. Please bring any wildflower identification guides that you have and dress appropriately for the weather. The hike will consist of 1-2 miles on moderate terrain.
